Week 3 has the pups at 4 pounds and increasingly mobile. Play interactions within the litter are growing and curiousity about the world outside the whelping box grows.The doors are opened and exploration of the weaning pen begins under Mom's supervision. However, the time always comes when it is good to retreat to a warm lap or to inspect the world going by while perched atop a littermates head.
